OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY:

»IT'S SPECIALTY

Aeróleo was the first air transportation company to operate during the risk contract period of the 1980s, when private companies were allowed to prospect for oil in Brazil. It provided services to some of the world's leading oil exploration and production companies, as well as engineering and support firms. Its customer portfolio includes

Hispanoil, Maersk, Micoperi SPA, Noble, Occidental, Pecten Brazil Exploration, Petrobrás, Pozos Perfurações, Sonat Offshore and Texaco, British Petroleum, CGG and Agip.

Since 1968, Aeróleo has been on continual contract to Petrobrás to provide transportation of personnel and cargo to its oil exploration and production facilities both offshore and onshore.

Aeróleo is extremely well regarded by Petrobrás and continues to score highly in the regular Petrobrás Performance Assessment Bulletins, rating its availability, security, cleanliness and appearence. It frequently receives the highest marks of any operator.

»EXPERIENCE IN THE CAMPOS BASIN

A major part of Aeróleo's offshore operations has occurred in the Campos Basin, which today accounts for some 80% of offshore oil production operations in Brazil. Aeróleo has been working in this basin since 1974, when the Garoupa offshore oil field was initially discovered, revealing the first and largest oil deposits in Brazil.

During over 26 years of uninterrupted operations in this region, Aeróleo pilots have acquired a reputation for operating safely and effectively under almost any permissible flight circumstances. This includes emergency flights offshore at night and dealing with even the most unpredictable weather conditions, skilfully handling the challenge of landing on semi-submersible platforms in stormy seas and high winds.
